I have always been interested in food and its role in health and wellness so it wasn’t a surprise when I gravitated towards dietetics as a profession. I have many passions but most of them converge in the area of food. I enjoy cooking, learning about cultural foods, gardening and teaching others how what they eat can impact their health long-term. My greatest desire is to see my patients and clients flourish and live an abundant life by taking charge of their health and wellbeing.
My practice philosophy developed over the course of 12 plus years of practice is focused on helping my clients find balance, avoiding deprivation and making peace with foods. My services are individualized to meet medical diagnosis, cultural and religious practices and food preferences.
I am the proud holder of a Bachelors degree in Dietetics and a Masters in Nutrition and Wellness. I have worked as an adjunct professor, health coach, clinical dietitians, corporate trainer, an in many different areas of the dietetics profession. I have appeared on radio, in print and presented at professional conferences, in churches and have worked as a mentor for future dietitians. Let’s work together to solve your nutritional problems.
